Sensory Play
Sensory Play at Home
Calm, safe sensory bins, water play and messy play that let little hands explore texture, sound and movement.
- 8 lessons
- Ages 1 to 6
Art with young children is about the doing, not a perfect result for the fridge. This course explains process art, how drawing develops from scribbles to first figures, how to set up an art corner with safe materials, and how to run painting, collage, scissor, dough and printing sessions, plus what to say about a drawing instead of another good job.

In a deliberate order. Each lesson explains why the play matters, gives you activities ready to run, and ends with a small assignment for the week.
You will know what the eight lessons cover, how to fit art into a normal week, and the safety rules that apply to every activity.
You will understand why the making matters more than the result at this age, and you will have phrases to use instead of empty praise.
You will set up a small, washable art space and know how to choose materials that are safe for your child's age.
You will be able to run finger painting and early painting sessions, including a taste-safe paint for toddlers who still mouth everything.
You will recognize the broad stages of early drawing and run drawing activities with crayons, chalk and pencils that suit your child's hand.
You will run collage and tearing activities for toddlers and introduce child scissors safely to children who are ready.
You will make and use playdough safely, print with household items and turn a walk into an art activity.
You will know how to display and keep your child's art, and you will leave with a written four-week art plan and a short list of signs worth raising with a professional.

Play education, not therapy. This course gives you activities and explains why they matter. It does not assess your child or replace a pediatrician, therapist or teacher. Always supervise play, keep small objects away from children under 3 and use materials suitable for their age. Read the safety notice.
The Complete Collection includes this course and the other 5, 48 lessons in all, for $147. That saves $135 against buying them one by one.
