Sensory Play
Sensory Play at Home
Calm, safe sensory bins, water play and messy play that let little hands explore texture, sound and movement.
- 8 lessons
- Ages 1 to 6
Blocks are one of the most useful toys a family can own, and one of the most underused. You will learn which blocks suit each age, how to move from stacking to bridges and enclosures, how to pose a building challenge, how to talk about size, balance and position, and how to help a child through the moment the tower falls.

In a deliberate order. Each lesson explains why the play matters, gives you activities ready to run, and ends with a small assignment for the week.
You will understand what construction play gives young children, how the eight lessons fit together, and the safety rules that apply to every activity in this course.
You will know which kinds of blocks suit your child's age, how to make a small building space in any home, and how to store and rotate pieces so they stay interesting.
You will be able to run four short stacking games for children aged about 1 to 3 and know what to say while your toddler builds and knocks down.
You will be able to set up three classic building challenges for children aged about 2 to 6 and use everyday words for size, balance and position while they build.
You will be able to make simple picture and challenge cards at home and use them to give your child, aged about 3 to 6, a goal to build towards.
You will be able to turn clean recycling into a safe building set and run three cardboard building activities for children aged about 1 to 6.
You will be able to add small figures and stories to block play, and handle sharing, siblings and the frustration of a falling tower calmly.
You will have a written 4-week building plan for your family, know how to adapt it, and know which general signs are worth raising with a pediatrician or health visitor.

Play education, not therapy. This course gives you activities and explains why they matter. It does not assess your child or replace a pediatrician, therapist or teacher. Always supervise play, keep small objects away from children under 3 and use materials suitable for their age. Read the safety notice.
The Complete Collection includes this course and the other 5, 48 lessons in all, for $147. That saves $135 against buying them one by one.
